DUAL is a Brazilian agribusiness that works with the following products derived from cotton: sludge, hull, seed, bran, cottonseed meal, linter, crude and semi-refined oil. In January 1990, in order to continue the heritage of tradition started in the 1940s by our family's patriarch, Octaviano Heráclio Duarte, and inspired by his life examples, we started our activities in the municipality of Limoeiro, in Pernambuco, our Home State.
In 1999, we opened our first branch, in Campo Novo do Parecis, in the State Mato Grosso. Initially, we installed a cotton ginning plant. Then, in 2007, we set up a vegetable oil factory and refinery. In 2009, motivated by the results of our work in Mato Grosso, we opened our second branch, another oil factory, in the municipality of Pedra Preta.
